Yes I had another kimono outing with my friends to the London Expo - Believe it or not, I felt rediciously old when I got there. A lot of teens dressed up as Navi, Pokemon trainers and a whole load as unknown anime figures to me.
Yes my days running around in latex, wielding two guns and doing my Lara Croft 'thing' are long gone....

So I was dressed in a mature kimono with Asanoha pattern and a Kaioke paterned obi. At the Expo there was a tiny corner reserved for Japanese related activities, like origami, calligraphy and kimono dressing. One of the ladies there stopped us and gave me the full 'inspection'.
The final verdict was 'very good dressed kimono, very tidy..good..good'. And of course the ever present question: 'Who dressed you?'.
The look on her face was priceless when we told he we dressed ourselves. It is a shame that the art of kimono wearing (kitsuke) is fading even in Japan. After some wandering we decided to head to Picadilly Circus for some nice Japanese food.

While eating our desert in the local Häagen-Dazs restaurant David rang me if I could make it to the Apple store to grab him some new toys for his iPad!

Speaking about iPads - David had a wonderful surprise for me and got me an iPad. Already it is fully abused as a sketching tool and a wonderful webbrowsing tool...and much much more.
I simply love it! I got a bright purple case for it, instead of the Apple one, since I want some more color. Also it has a holder for my new iPad sketch pen :P

Today I got busy and decided to bake some more cupcakes, a colleague of mine Jess makes the most wonderful cupcakes. We both have the Hummingbird Bakery book and pretty much every Monday morning at work we bring in our handy work - my weeks handy work are Lemon Cupcakes! Great for this humid weather and very jummy. I go some American muffin paper cases instead of the smaller uk muffin cases and the sponge is sooooo much better! David managed to grab one of the plate, only 11 more left :P
I'm looking forward in baking some more from this book in August when my Dad is coming over for his birthday - I better start practising ^^

Tuut Tuut Driving...

Lock your doors, close the windows and stay inside...as you might have guessed I got a car.
And I am loving it! However I hate car shopping, the amount of time and pitfalls you have to watch out for is insane.

Fortunately I had a 'car buff' with me when looking at them, so I could just stand there and debate with myself if I liked the colour. In the end I got very lucky, the first real car viewing ended up in purchasing it. So I'm not the proud owner of a blue Peugot 306 - named Blue Bertha :)

Onlything that needs addressing is that horrible Eau de Dog inside the care, previous owner had a dog and I still find loads of dog hairs. Also I am going to attempt to clean my seats again for the 3rd time this weekend and hopefully get a little bit more rid of the dirt and smell.
David has been awesome in acompanying me on some of my journeys, it feels nice and reassuring to have him sitting next to me. So I think it is time to start tuning my car and learn how to drift around corners....Newbury watch out ^^

Found this picture on Flickr and it is lovely to see those little fuzzballs grow! Makes me want to get one again...I'm sure it would have a party running around the garden and lounge!

So if everything went according to plan I was supposed to be in Gibraltar right now. Unfortunately BA announced a strike and our flight got canceled, so mildly annoyed we re booked for a later date - but guess what the strike in canceled at the last moment.
Checked BA's website and the flight to Gibraltar left this morning on time and landed safely 2.5 hrs later.

On another completely random note - I passed my driving test! Yes I am finally the proud owner of a full UK driving license, so where I failed horribly in NL I managed to get right (in one go) in the UK now I don't know if this comes down to sheer dumb luck or actual skill. I'm hoping for the latter that way my driving instructor Richard has done his job :)
Next challenge is car shopping - which is going to be entertaining at least, since I have zero knowledge of cars. I'm still hoping to find a bright orange one, but I'm sure David won't let me park it anywhere near the house ^^

Well it is now 6:52 in the morning on the 6th of January 2010 - you may ask 'Why are you out of bed so early?' without going into detail too much the answer is...Work!

But also because there is about 3 inches of snow here, and I'm just a big child when it comes to snow. It has been falling at a consistent pace last night and although there is a fair amount of it, I think it is still too little. David might disagree since he cannot drive anywhere at this point - but I'm loving it.

However since here in the UK they have yet to grasp the concept of proper gritting - I cannot cycle or be driven to work. Which gives me two options:

1. Work from home.

2. Walk to work, which takes about a good 1.5 hours in snow.

'Reluctantly' I'm going to choose the latter, I love a good snow walk - however after slipping on ice yesterday and nearly breaking something I need to change my footwear. *Ponders if she could borrow David skies :)*

Anyway I got sidetracked with ramblings - Happy new year to all! I hope 2010 may be a year where we say goodbye to the recession and all the fighting in the world, and that one dreams may come true!

My mandatory new year resolutions are a combination of more holidays, going out to the cinema and dinner more, have a lot more fun and seriously curb my kimono spending :)

In March this year Alice in wonderland will be released and I simply cannot wait!

Work for me around this time of year is so busy, all those companies that want to get their site/product ready for Christmas. I actually love this time of year, I'm always busy with nice things and there is never a boring moment.

At the company I work for we have loads of clients that are fun to work with! I always like working on the London Eye - their new brand looks stylish.
Every time there is a special event they do a site 'overhaul' and change the colors and the main Flash. This year I got to do the main flash banner and I went for a magical Christmas feeling.
So here you have it snow falling, lights twinkling - I'm very pleased with this.

I'm actually going to the Netherlands and celebrate Sinterklaas there, Im truly looking forward to this - I'm already building up my pepernoten appetite.

Unfortunately 'Bloke' is not coming with me, but I'll be bringing him some nice noms back.

Normally I fly from London heathrow to Amsterdam and then from there I make my way to my parents. But this time I'm actually taking the train to Rotterdam - I haven't done that journey before and I'm actually quite looking forward to this journey. Just chilling and play a bit on my Macbook, read a book, have a snooze I'm sure those 4.5 hours will be by in no time. I only have to wake up in time to transfer trains in Brussels.

Now 4.5 hours might seem very long since the actual flight only takes 45 min, but think about the whole check-in mess at the airport and other things like that. It's a good thing I like trains so much :) So now I'm thinking about what presents I need to bring over for sinterklaas. Only I don't have Sinterklaas gift wrapping paper :(

Well we're not quite there yet as a Dutchie I'm awaiting the arrival of Sinterklaas, here you go non-Dutchies the Wiki link. As described in the Wiki page Sinterklaas is mainly about chocolate and lots of this commodity. I can tell you one thing ever since I was a little girl nothing is more exciting then getting the first letter of your name in chocolate - of-course during the years you try to be 'special' and swap from milk chocolate to white, but in essence it stays the same chocolaty goodness.

The 5th of december is approaching and I do miss the Sinterklaas decoration in the store windows and occasionally replacing your dinner with perpernoten & speculaas (it's in the wiki) just because you had to miss all those goodies for a whole year. Mind you 3 weeks after Sinterklaas you are still eating pepernoten because you bought a few bags too many....

Anyway my point being is that at this time of year I'm missing the Netherlands the most, Christmas is Christmas but Sinterklaas is something so Dutch only a true Dutchie will starting to get the 'feeling' around this time. So I think for me there is nothing left then watch the arrival of him by steamboat on a internet stream and hope my parents will get this hint and send me some goodies, yes I know subtle.

Besides all of this I am also having fun with my driving lessons. Yes, the lack of proper public transportation here in the UK has driven me to take up driving lessons again. Only this time I think I'm not that bad - my instructor had a few white knuckle moments when I had a bit of a relapse to the Dutch side of the road...I manage on a bike but a car was tricky the first few lessons. However Richard seems to be patient enough with me, which in itself is quite an achievement. So next time you are on the road better check that rear view mirror again, I might be driving behind you :D

Yes another year has gone by - and to mark the occasion my sister decided that it would be fun to dress up her pet rabbit Bumper with a festive outfit. I'mnot entirely sure that she is very much approving the choice of her owners sense of humor, but oh well - I enjoyed receiving the picture :)

So my 28th birthday came in unlike last year I had my parents over to actually join the celebartion. I got hopelessly spoiled by them and David a.k.a. 'Bloke'. Gifts ranged from Guitar Hero 5 - which David still regrets giving to me since I have a tendancy to try and 100% a song by playing it 21 times in a row - and a lovely silver necklace and beutiful designer dress from parents.

David also thought the world was ready for me driving so I also got driving lessons, for all those in the Berkshire area, I will warn you when I go out on the roads :) For lunch I was taken to Jamie Oliver's restaurant in Oxford - http://www.jamieoliver.com/italian/oxford
I must admit it was the best past I have had for a very long time and if you do happen to eat there try the anti-pasta starter plates, simply amazing!
For dinner we went to my favorite, The Crab at Chieveley - nothing can beat that place when it comes to seafood. I have had an amazing day surrounded with the people I love most - It was all very special.

After a few days off work - it was back again, some really nice things have gone live in the last few days. I love the London Eye Halloween site: http://www.londoneye.com/ - we did the Flash on the mainpage and the site overhaul. I'm very proud with my 'Blinky the Frog' :)
I love making those little Flash animations - Rachel did a very good job on the extra mouse over fog to compliment my area fog.... anyway go check it out!

Busy, busy, busy - did I mention busy?

I promised to be good and post a little bit more, but who am I kidding :) Anyway a few updates on how life is going on this side of the world. This weekend I went to the Battle Proms at Highclere Castle, although the event is always great fun - this time the weather was just bugger.

It was cold and rainy and it took a good time before it cleared up a bit in the evening.

Due to the weather we did not have a Spitfire flying over for an air show, but the weather did pick up enough for some amazing fireworks! However there was enough alcohol to keep us warm :)

And believe it or not I was home and in bed before midnight... am I getting old or what!

Unfortunately in May me and a group of friends had to say goodbye to a friend of ours who went back to Malaysia after studying here in the UK for a few years. Priscilla is part of our kimono group and the 5 of us normally go out and about in kimono to eat sushi and be stared at by Japanese tourists in London.

So we organized a farewell lunch in Mitsukoshi - the food was amazing, pricy but amazing.

Afterwards we all ended up indulging our sweet tooth in Häagen-Dasz London. It was sad to see Priscilla go but at the same time another member of the Immortal Geisha Forums joined our group here in the UK. Her husband is in the military and is stationed in the UK.

Lyuba is now part of the IG UK team :)

Anyway here is my lunch 'Kitsuke' (Go google it)

I love combining modern with traditional! Sunglasses and kimono. The Obi I'm wearing is light grey with bamboo

embroidery on it, and a very funky looking kimono.

Now that I finally upgraded my Flickr to a pro account the shocking truth and amount of my kimono collection is shown. However I have been good and sold also quite a few items in the past few weeks, just to make room in my drawers - or David will go nuts :) More pictures of the lunch can be found *HERE*.

At work things have been pretty crazy! Been doing a lot of Flash work lately and here are some of my projects:

And I seriously need to update my portfolio site since that has been a bit neglected.

However it is growing really fast and I am doing really cool stuff right now at work - however I'm longing for a proper holiday.

But in about 5 weeks David and me are flying to the land of clogs to celebrate my mums 65th birthday!

Speaking about work the guys in the office see me getting my packages from Japan every now and then - so they all challenged me to come to work in kimono one day. Well don't challenge me since I probably end up doing it :)

So that is pretty much it for now - I'm going to log into World of Warcraft and check out my new present ... a Teldrassil Sproutling. It was a present from David *love*

Why no title? Well I couldn't think of one fitting this post. I could start off with something along the lines of 'AWESOME QUEENS DAY 2009!!!' But after yesterday it was not as festive as one would expect it to be.

For those who have not caught up with the news, yesterday a 38 year old male drove intentionally through the crowd who was watching the Royal Family go by, in an attempt to their lives.

Fortunately they did not get injured - however a lot of innocent people did. The current situation is 5 people dead and the idiot who did it dead as well. Watching the Dutch news in the UK is proving to be a bit of a challenge at times - but there is a steady flow of information from other sites.

In my opinion Queens day have lost it's innocence - we always could get very close to the Royal family when they participated in Queens day activities. I even got to shake hands with the Queen when I was a toddler - she visited the city I lived in that year. I think only time will tell what will happen to Queens day, I hope it will stay the same old Dutch party that we all know and love, but I'm doubt full.

Hopefully there won't be any more deaths, two of the nine people who are still in the hospital are critically injured. Let's hope for the best.....

After my horrible attempt to make pastry cream on the 28th - I had better luck with a different recipe on the 29th. It actually was the proper solid stuff. One of my colleagues followed a different recipe this the result (no I'm not laughing....too loud). I did the pretty one in the back (^o^)

Besides all of this the move is going fine, despite the fact that there are boxes everywhere in the house now. I cannot wait to get rid of them and make the place look pretty again. I simply cannot live that way with boxes everywhere.

Today the IKEA furniture arrived adding to the boxcount, but hopefully we can work hard and get it all built this weekend! And I think I got the coolest officechair in the house

So March was a busy and interesting month just to name a few things:
- I passed my probation at my job
- Going to move house (again)
- But just to live with my Bloke :)
- Got a massive expansion on my kimono/Japanese collection
- Did I mention moving in with my Bloke?

Job wise it was a lot off stress an mayhem over March, end of the financial year was looming and all the design work had to be squeezed into very little time. Fortunately I was able to work fast and not get stuck with loads of work in the evening and weekends. Some stress and hard work is fine but I'm glad that month is over.

David decided to take me out to the Crab at Chievely, which is a lovely restaurant with amazing food. Starters like scallops with white chocolate & caviar - and if you get a chance do go for the Crab, that baby is huge! Anyway he asked me just before the starters to move in with him, now I can be a real girl and start crying (I must admit that I had to swallow a few times to keep the tears back) but I didn't want to just burst out in tears in the middle of the restaurant.

Also the couple next to us seemed to listen to everything we said and threw a bunch of dirty looks our way. So the big move of my place to his/ours will start right after Easter. It is pretty weird to see your place up on a letting agency site while you are still there. The sign has been firmly planted outside so it is all ready to go. I will miss my kittehs though :(

My kimono collection has grown rapidly in the last week! I had to indulge in some beauties (which all can be found on my Flickr stream on the right), but I think my latest purchase is one to look out for - It is an antique geisha doll. Which reminds me from when I was a young girl going with my dad onto big Japanese container ships to meet the Captain and where my dad had to do business.

They all had a glass display with one of those dolls inside, now there is a lot of touristy shit on Ebay - but I have found me a little gem. I think I will call her Katsuragi - seems to be fitting for her and also remind me of my first encounter with one of these dolls.

So as you might have guessed it will be a massive move with all the things I got to take - poor David :)

You think you can pass? Well this the is day to day hassle I get from my local cats. They are all fun and games until you get home and you find all 3 of them on my staircase refusing to let me pass. And when I get lucky I get the 4th one from down the road with it for free.

Spring has arrived in the UK, which is always good when you are cycling to work every day. In the last months I have been battling with snow, rain and wind. Needless to say how much it sucks. But things are looking brighter my sunglasses are permanently in my bag again and during lunch me and the guys from the office head out to our local pub to have a pint and sit in the sun.

The pub is right next to a canal that flows through the city so during the summer and spring you have a lot of boats going by, and a bunch of killer swans (damn those things are big and cheeky)

Speaking about pints, yesterday -the 17th - was St. Patricks Day, since my other half is Irish this of course called for a massive celebration. Unfortunately I have been swamped with work again and barely made it home to him before 6. But I found a Guinness waiting for me and a lovely meal with Irish sausages, mash and steak and Guinness pie! Absolutely gorgeous.

Another reason to celebrate was our first kill on Malygos, yes I'm still the World of Warcraft Nerd. But after trying to kill it for the last 3 weeks you can imagine me and my guild was pretty happy with the kill. Anyway here is some belated St. Patricks Day fun :)

Snow, kimono and happy new year!

Well first post of 2009 so Ithink a very, very belated 'happy new year' is in order here :)

Without a doubt you all might have heard of the lovely weather conditions in the UK, and here in Newbury it is not any different: SNOW! When I get left to bed it was a mild drizzle of snow and by the time I got up this morning at 3:15am - Ebay auction - it was a white world outside with about 13cm of thick fresh
snow.
This morning it was even more and today it will get more, so I think hot chocolate is the way forward here. The picture is taken from my office window, check out the hill everyone is having loads of fun! So we might leave for home early cause the hills here are scary when you are driving a rear weel drive car.

Speaking about cars, I have finally got my provisional driving licence after loads of hassle. Sending in your photocopy of your passport is not enough to the DVLA, no you actually need to send out the original passport. So much for this great EU thing where every country can easily exchange information....FAIL! So when this lovely snow dissapears I will be taking my first lessons on English soil. Currently reading up on the theory and you got to love a place that has Pelican and Tucan crossings :D

Last weekend I went to Tokyo day in London, it was awesome! I don't get too many occasions to dress up in my kimonos and this time I thought it was time to wear my brand new light yellow houmongi. I had some people fromwork joining me that day as well and Christians girlfriend was happy enough to wear one of my kimonos and join the fun. She looked stunning in her ko-furisode. More pictures on my Flickr account (see on your left). At the end of February I have another kimono event, and I have been asked to participate in a kimono fashionshow! Yes it has been a a fun time the last few weeks.

I do miss the little furball, she has been at my old place in Bussum many times and always enjoyed having her over. Well I say that now but at the time I was cursing her for the mess she made! Speaking about little bunnies, my sister finally managed to get her own Bumper. I know...but I wasn't involved in the naming of the little one ^^

Apparently Bumper is sporting quite the attitude and that will go well with her owner. You know what they say pets can look a lot like their owners *Only joking Nicole* So here for your viewing pleasure some Bumper pictures because she is cute and fluffy.

My first Flash™

It has been a while since I last used Flash... more then 2 years I haven't touched the program but one day I came into the office and there was the request to do a Flash animation. Ever seen somebody run and hide under a table? Well that was pretty much what I wanted to do, slightly stressed I got the brief and off I went. After long nights and stupid mistakes I finally managed to come up with this (look at pretty picture)

Not the whole side but the main animation in the big box on the left side. Now I know there are a lot of people out there who can actionscript this blindfolded and timeline animators who just fell off their chair laughing, but I don't care *sticks out tongue* The actual moving animation can be found at www.pepsi.co.uk

The 'Oh damn I forgot to update in a while' - Post

Hello my faithful readers.....all 5 of you! Yes indeed it has been a while since I last updated, I can provide you with a number of reasons why but in the end I might just have been a bit lazy *shock*

So just to spoil you all I have a long post with lots of pictures and stories. This summer the 22nd of August one week after I move my Dutch butt to the UK David and I went to Reading Festival to enjoy some music like Rage against the Machine and Metallica! We had tickets for Friday and Sunday, cause Saturday's lineup simple sucked. It has been a while since I last went to a festival and I forgot how you seem to not notice the smell of sweat, stale beer and urine after a while and just enjoy the music & company. The weather was absolutely stunning so there was the need to keep well 'hydrated' :) It was good fun and we needed the monday to recover... am I getting old?

We also had a lovely break in the New Forrest I'll upload the pictures on my Flickr some day :) An amazing hotel and beautiful surroundings, really a nice mini-vacation.

September came very fast and before I knew it I was starting on my first day, and what a day it was! I fully enjoyed it and now after nearly 2 months I feel very much at home and don't mind to run the extra mile to get a project done.

Everybody is so passionate about what do, it is very stimulating to work in! I really have missed that passion at previous places I worked. There it was just work here it is a philosophy. A quick peek of the place I work.

David had some fun news a fancy dress party! I have been waiting forever to get a good opportunity to wear my recently acquired Furisode, if you don't know what I'm talking about: kimono for unmarried women. It is a beauty but I was fearing the time it would take me to put it on. In the end 1.5 hours is not

too bad to look 'Iki' (go Google it). David decided he would go as something 'odd' and came up with a very cool outfit! There is a very handsome guy underneath that mask - serious!

So what did I do for exciting things today well every 2 weeks some from the design team has to do something creative and fun, today was my turn and I felt that I wanted to go back to my youth, only one thing is good enough for that: CLAY!!

Yes it was clay figurines madness, everyone was busy with creating weird stuff and hopefully we will make a stop motion animation out of it to have some fun! More on my Flickr account (see left) The black one is mine ^^

Well that will be the last pictures of this update more to be following soon, things are going well here in the UK, but I miss 'Pepernoten' around this time of the year in the supermarkets :(

Friday the 15th was the big day to move all my 'stuff' across to the UK. A friend of mine was up for a free holiday in return he only had to drive. Btw I really need to get my drivers licence... Anyway it all started at 5am. Time to get up and get everything in the rented van. At moments like this you find out that; you got way to much stuff!! Two hours later and all was inside (ofc I forgot a whole bunch). Off to Duinkerken to catch the 2pm ferry to Dover. Smooth trip and no trouble at customs, which I found strange since I figured that they would love to dig through my completely packed van, just to annoy the hell out of me. Customs at Schiphol seem to like me enough to do that, every single friggin time! But no, French customs rules! Ferry ride went well and 1hr 45min later we arrived in Dover. Ah, UK customs oh damn...but they rule too!

And off we went to Berkshire country. Got a call from David to inform us we got some delayes on the M25, cause of some guy dressed at Batman was delaying traffic. Lol, turned out to be a protest for the right of fathers to see kids more after a divorce. Fortunately we arrived at Davids place in one piece, not thanks to me since I had a blackout in my sense of direction driving down a way I knew for 1.5 years :)

After a break we drove to my apartment and reached for that last bit of strenght and hauled the 34 boxes and other bits up the stairs into my apartment. Sorry David that I made you help :)

But finally everything is in my place and sorted, well now I got to start the unpacking business.

After spending the Saturday unpacking most of my stuff, remind you clearing 10 boxes was a lot of work.

My bedroom has a made bed and a wardrobe filled with clothing, kitchen has my pots and pans.

Bathroom is clean and has a relaxed feeling to it....and I'm not going to talk about the lounge cause that place is filled with boxes :D

Anyway Sunday can and it was time for me and Patrick to return to the Netherlands... sad to leave, but will be back in 4 days. But on the boat my suffering was eased with Magners and a Curry .. mmmmm jummie!!!

Well in a few days time I will be moving all my stuff to the UK, finally! All the boxes in my house are getting to me, and my eating habits haven't really improved since all my plates and cutlery have been packed away. The key to may new place have been picked up on the 08.08.2008 by my lovely David. Great help and support with a lot of things, including getting my BT connection sorted.

It is amazing how much hassle you have to go through to get a simple phone line connected. Now I can understand BT wants some money in advance, since I have no credit rating in the UK whatsoever. But when you want to pay that £50 by your own Visa card... not a chance! You can pay with your Visa in the smallest mountain village in Tibet but not a chance you can pay BT with it. So David if you are reading this....thank you :)

Anyway I have also started my final week of World of Warcraft *shock* My computer will be moved as well and I don't have internet at my new place yet so I will not be online for a while. I'm wondering if my guild will live through it all. It is summer and general the raiding is not so good then.

I have sold all my furniture, I don't even have a fridge to store milk for my beloved morning dose of Brinta, Google or Wiki it if you don't know what it is. I must admit that doing my shopping this weekend has never been easier, hence the picture of the pot nooddle.... just add water ^^

Well Friday was the big day, I was able to check out my apartment for the first time. Had to wait for a little while for the estate agent to show up but I was being kept company by (what it seems) the downstairs neighbors cats. Very friendly and cute kitties ^^

Anyway the apartment itself looked absolutely gorgeous, and the pictures I have seen of it (see photostream on your left) didn't do it justice. Much more spacious and 'gezellig'.

So the 15th I'm going to move over my stuff to the UK and see what I can squeeze into my new place. Looking forward to the housewarming and the remaining summer days in my new place.

Oh, and the cat in front of the stairs is not dead :D

Well I finally pulled it off the 1st of September I'm starting at my new job! Excited? You bet!
It has been a crazy few weeks but I manged to get the apartment I wanted and I'm off this Thursday to sign papers and have first look at the place myself.

So this blog is for the peeps in the Netherlands, to make sure I'm still on one piece and having a good time in the UK.
This blog will feature pictures and video's , using my ancient digital camera, to show what life is like for a Dutchie who is only 45 minutes away from NL.

Besides the fun of seeing The Cure at Wembley, discovering the little unique stores in the streets of Oxford or just crashing on the sofa and watch a very bloody gangster (Eastern Promises) movie with a special Irishman. I actually received word that two companies were interested in meeting me. Actually the third managed to finally get my details to their HR people after 3 months - so who knows maybe another email their way to see how that is coming along?

Anyway turns out that one company had a design team (2 people) and the other nothing that remotely resembles a design team at all - which was where I would get in to sort that bit all out.

So where am I now? Well still doing the waiting game and in the middle of it all still browsing for new jobs. Hmmm - how about a bet? I bet you all that I can be in the UK, working, living, eating curry at the beginning of May. Which should be in 1 months time-ish, now you would ask what is in it for me?I will actually not play World of Warcraft every night and whip up something creative for you - how's that?

Right now it is sort of time for bed, it suck having a cold cause you keep waking up - ugh, nearly 3 am. Weltrusten all!!

Well you know how it goes ... you got a new Blog and you need to test how everything looks.Well this is pretty much some incoherent ramblings from me at about 1am on a monday morning.Where are actually should be in bed with my hot water bottle (since it is bloody freezing here ) but I decided the digital world was a lot more interesting then my dreams.

So Still no word if I ever gonna get a job in the UK and to be honest with you all it is starting to annoy me that no company is willing to hire such a motivated and slightly mad person like myself. But who knows today it is monday and new possibilities might find their way to me. Think I should get to bed now before I get myself into a soapbox mode and nobody would want that, well you might but I'm not up for it now ;)

Oh and I tried to use Magenta in my blog so I probably get the hell sued out of me by T-mobile ... no offense guys but you cannot claim a color, cause if you can then I think I'm going to copyright black for my own personal pleasure and style.

Right still need to find a way to pimp this blog up a bit... went for white instead of black for a change, which is shock cause most people know me as a person who loves black.

What am I trying to do now is come up with something nice that will give me some own feeling to my blog ... or I can just keep it like it is now and not bother with it and wow you in a few weeks with a new layout *if I ever find the time*
